 ANIMATED LOGO PROCESS: 


1. Preparation and Asset Setup

The animated logo was created using Adobe After Effects 2025, set to a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels (Full HD) with a frame rate of 29.97 frames per second (fps). This standard resolution ensures the animation is crisp and suitable for various digital platforms such as social media, websites, and video presentations.

The starting point was the final static logo developed during the branding phase, which was imported into After Effects as the central element of the animation. This logo was organized into the main composition named “Your Logo”, serving as the foundation for all subsequent animation work.

To enhance the visual quality and depth of the animation, several supporting visual assets were incorporated, including:

✅ Light Render footage, which adds realistic and dynamic lighting effects, helping to highlight key parts of the logo and create visual interest.

✅ Reflection elements that simulate light bouncing off surfaces, giving the logo a subtle 3D feel and adding dimensionality.

✅ A clean and minimal background footage that keeps the focus on the logo while providing a soft, elegant atmosphere.

✅ Adjustment layers for overall colour grading and visual refinement, allowing for fine-tuning of brightness, contrast, and colour balance across all layers.

2. Composition and Scene Structure

The animation was meticulously organized into multiple compositions, such as Scene, Main, Reflect, and Render. This modular approach allowed for a clean and manageable workflow, enabling easy updates or changes to individual parts without disrupting the entire project.

By dividing the animation into smaller, focused compositions, the project gains:

✅ Flexibility to experiment with different animation styles and effects independently

✅ Efficiency in managing complex elements by grouping them logically

 Professionalism by mirroring industry-standard workflows used in commercial motion graphics projects.

This structured setup also facilitates collaboration and future revisions, as team members or clients can review specific sections easily.

3. Animation Development

The core animation concept focused on delivering a smooth, minimalistic motion that aligns with the elegant brand identity. Several key techniques were employed to achieve this:

✅ Opacity animations gradually reveal the logo, creating a gentle fade in effect that introduces the design in a subtle and sophisticated manner.

✅ Transform animations, including scaling and slight positional shifts, add life to the logo without overwhelming the viewer. These movements guide the eye and provide a sense of organic flow, reflecting the natural beauty associated with the florist brand.

✅ Blending modes, particularly Add and Screen, were applied strategically to layers containing light and reflection effects. These modes blend layers in a way that intensifies brightness and glow, enhancing the logo’s visual impact while maintaining harmony with the overall colour scheme.

The animation was carefully timed to last about 8 seconds, a duration selected to keep the viewer’s attention and deliver the brand message effectively without feeling rushed or drawn out.

4. Visual Enhancement

To elevate the final output, several visual refinement techniques were incorporated:

✅ Dynamic light effects were used to create a focal point on the logo, drawing viewers’ attention and emphasizing the design’s key features.

✅ The reflection elements added subtle highlights and shadows that suggest depth and texture, making the logo appear more tangible and engaging.

✅ Adjustment layers played a crucial role in ensuring color consistency and correcting any discrepancies across different footage and graphic layers, resulting in a polished and unified look.

Additionally, a camera layer was employed within After Effects to control the composition’s perspective and framing, ensuring the logo remains perfectly centered and proportioned throughout the animation sequence.

5. Final Output

The completed animated logo is a clean, professional motion graphic that effectively enhances the Daiana Florist brand identity. It is well suited for multiple applications, including:

✅ Video intros for promotional or informational videos, where it can serve as an elegant opener.

✅ Brand identity motion assets used across digital marketing channels such as social media posts, website headers, or email campaigns.

✅ Digital presentations, adding a dynamic and visually appealing element that captures attention and reinforces brand recognition.

The After Effects project file (.aep) was saved as the native working file.
